Practice nets?
« on: July 10, 2008, 11:46:33 AM »

I've never owned or used one. I can see it being great for working on my swing, but I feel I'd miss the feed back I get at the range. Just wondering if they are worth the investment.

I've been thinking about one, too, but I worry that I could ingrain something bad without the diagnostic of ball flight.

Not if you live in a windy area or have a dog. Ditto what Clive said.

You are a nerd.

I'm all about the net.  The only way to go with winters up here.

I don't actually use it for swing work (because the anal lawyer is correct) But for the continuous swinging/hitting exercise fix.........gotta get one.

Sam's club has a great multi purpose collapsible one for under 60 bucks.

Pffft.  Buy a dozen Almost Golf balls, hang an old sheet in the garage, and have at it.
