I skipped my 20-year a couple of years back, though got a couple of calls at 3:30 in the morning from people who had drunk too much just the right amount, beating me up for not being there.

The only one I went to was my 5.  Last year was my 20.  Kinda wanted to go, but the timing just didn't work out.

5 year reunion? LOL
Most of the kids from my HS would have still been in the 5th year of their 7 year college plan.

I went to my 10 year, and everybody acted exactly the same but were just balder and fatter. I figured there's really no reason to go the 20th.

For some reason I went to the 5 year reunion. It was stupid. Though I did get invited to go to the titty bar by a guy who inexplicably wanted to fight me all through jr. high and high school. I declined.

For our 10 year, a friend who remains close had talked me into attending (for Uisce's benefit: it was being held at the classiest of bars in the greater Salt Lake area- Totems) but then decided at the last minute she didn't want to go, so we went and had sushi instead. Apparently the reunion was everything I expected it to be and I was not sorry I missed it.

20 year reunion will be in 2012. I suspect I will skip it. But who knows? The people from high school who I don't already know how to get a hold of if I so desire might suddenly become vastly more important to me than they are now.

My 10 year is this fall.  We didn't have a 5(WTF?) year reunion.

I won't be attending.  Not going to waste a weekend with a sitter by spending it with those assclowns.  I still talk to my friends that I give a *feces* about.

I went to my 10th and then my 20th (two years ago).  It's always interesting to see how some of your classmates are doing?  It's pretty sad to find out about those who passed away.
