so how much time you got in it now strohdags?

Not nearly enough.  Spent the entire day yesterday at the lake.

Initial:

It's *goshdarn* hard.

Signing I do best, and if you knew me, you would recognize the irony.

Guitar, I was getting better at, but still don't entirely "get it"  I fell like I'm doing it correctly but it shows I'm missing the notes.

Bass is pretty cool, but I struggle when it speeds up.

Drums, while probably the signature offering to the concept is utterly worthless.  Being a drummer, I find the set up and what is asked to be completely counter intuitive.  I will most certainly buy that product you showed in another post, but even having it set up correctly, I'm not sure I like the way the notes are presented.

lol.

well, i have it on 360, not wii, but (i assume this feature is on all platforms) have you done the 'sync' to make sure that your tv, audio, and personal 'sensory' perception are on time?  it helps a lot, especially for fast guitar parts.

agree, the drums in rb1 really aren't very good-- at least they're improving the kit some for the next version.  i've only ever tinkered with real life kits before, never owned or played anything seriously--- i can only imagine they seem weak to someone who plays a lot for real. -- my biggest issue is the tension in the kick pedal-- everything else I managed to get use to.---  that said, its a great way to get people interested in drumming i think....   anyways, I would like to hear what you think they should do to improve the note presentation ... i think thats something RB gets perfect awards for (until we have 3d displays)  ... i'm super jacked because with the premium drum rocker thing, it CAN be converted into a real electronic set just by adding the brain and a real kick pad/pedal.  i'd have hard time swallowing dropping $1k on a set up front, but buying in bits at a time while building at least some skills in RB will give me the courage to do it.   Devil

Cool.  Thanks for that.  i haven't synced it yet.  Didn't know.   Anonymous  Just pulled it out of the box and started grinding.  Grin

Having only played GH in Best Buy, Sam's etc.  I can't comment too much, but as far as the way RB does it I think it is plenty good.

Not sure how I would change it (at least for the drums, I'll have to chew on that.)

I guess what I was alluding to earlier was the fact that is seems the notes aren't consistent within the song.  Sometimes, the flash hits on a lead note(gitbox) sometimes on a chord, and sometimes it seems synced with the vocals.  Have you seen this too, or am I just looney?
