Of course, you are spot on.  This is so true.

But the question is, will (male) voters overlook mcGrommits lack of judgment and give him props for his taste in women.

It seems to me the Republicans have decided that if they are going down in a flaming heap, they are going to carry this whole 'governance by superficiality' thing (aka 'smoke and mirrors') to its natural end.

Maybe he's so senile he thought he was picking wife #3, not a VP.

She's PERFECT:

A pro-life redstater who knows how to play the crony game, attracts the last of the deadenders from The Hillmonsters camp, and best of all she's a relative nonentity who is entirely expendable if McCain goes down in flames.

The last part is why I suspect Pawleny and Crist told Grampy to go get bent.

I don't see how a pro-life redstater has an ounce of appeal to anyone who was a Hillary supporter.

McCain's #1 bullet was Obama's lack of experience and he just got water in his powder. The oldest guy to ever take office would have a 44 year old nobody as his #2.

I think he botched this one big time. I feared Tom Ridge as his pick. It would have delivered PA and OH and the election. The only think he now has going for him is that Biden might look like a bully when he kicks her teeth in on stage.

Not to mention, she favors the teaching of creationism in schools, so she's going to have to deal with the wrath of blader industries.

My wife, whose appetite for the political has risen to insatiable, reports reading from more than one pundit that Ms. Palin will decline, citing her 4-month-old with Downs Syndrome.  McCain will be seen as progressive and will be free to pick some older, richer white guy, in accordance with Holy Scripture.

She's big into the conspiracy *feces* these days, if you hadn't noticed.
