4 games? **** ...............cut him! Worthless ****. [Serious Viking talk  ] McKinnie though inconsistent is a top LT in the league, not an elite one, but definitely very solid. The problem with him is inconsistency, when he is on, with his 6'8" 348# frame he can absolutely dominate anyone. When he is off, smaller speed rushing ends give him problems. Although practicing against Jared Allen everyday is helping with that.   LT is not a position that you can cut solid players and replace them with average ones and have it work out. Getting a quality LT can almost be as hard as getting a quality QB. 4 time probowler Willie Anderson was cut by the Bengals because he wouldn't take a pay cut. Vikes should go after him. If nothing else he would be a very good stop-gap. [/Serious Viking talk ] Either way Vikes will still go 19-0 this year, so it doesn't matter. |

What got me sour on him him was sitting out as a rookie from day one, missing valuable time and then barely playing (overall) up to his potential. Throw in all the off field antics and I've about had it with him. I recognize I'm a bit hypocritical however, when my stance was "You never trade Moss. No matter what." But you are correct, a good LT is hard to come by. |
