[RANT] I'm getting tired of this.

Very rough end of week last week and today just continues it. I really didn't talk about much of this.

On Friday one of my co-workers had his wife move out on him. He found out she was going to do it a couple weeks ago but still rough.

Darla's job is still a concern, not sure if she will have it after this week.

Another co-worker, a good friend of ours came home on Sunday to find her husband moved out. They had talked about separating but she thought they were going to plan it a little bit.

Just found out today another co-worker of mine had part of his house burn down about a month ago.

Truth is the middle two things I listed occupied my mind all day. Obviously Darla's employment is a big deal. Today her boss talked to her a little about it. If she wants to expand on it I will let her do that later. She is in class right now so either later tonight or tomorrow. Whatever it is still a concern, we are not terribly worried about it but it would make things tight.

The good friend I found out this morning. We went to her wedding and we both feel bad for her. She really opened up to me today letting me know a little about what happened, but more asking me what to do next. I tried to give her the best advice I could but ultimately it's up to her as to what she will do. All I can do is wish her the best of luck and hope we (I) don't loose a friend.

Things like this just suck. Makes you want to drink. Tonight I choose milk. Not because I don't have anything but because right now anything else wont make things or me feel better. The other thing is life for us is still good. We (I) had a rough spot a while ago but that's all better. Things are still good. Even if Darla was to loose her job it would not be without compensation. We still have each other, our kids, and it seems we are happier now then ever.

It just sucks when all this bad stuff is happening around us.

Maybe this will make it easier. I can't go to sleep.

I know this doesn't help you two right now---because Dallas is not in our immediate plans---but Blader Industries, Inc., is about to roll out to select test markets a new product that we call "Economic Dislocation Copulation."

It's actually a very simple idea, sort of like "make up" **** but without all the arguing, choking or real and implied death threats, etc.  It is a product pretty much designed for cases such as yours.  Especially the sleepless nights situation.

I'm cautiously optimisitc.  It works great in the corporate laboratories, but I've come to learn my crack team of researchers can copulate at the drop of a dime, so what works on the 5th floor of One Blader Plaza doesn't necessarily translate to real world success.  So I await the real world results with some apprehension. 

Lord knows, there is enough economic dislocation out there right now that this can be one heck of a blockbuster.  If it works, Q1 could make our year!
