Everyone chime in a hearty congrats to Sal.

In less than 1 year at Pitt (6 months, really) , she has progressed from a temp-to-hire in a dept/boss that wasn't so accomodating, to a temp-to-hire who has now been offered the permanent position in a dept/boss that is much more accomodating.

Although this doesn't equate to more pay, it means no clocking in, a few benefits (about $1500 worth) and overall, a far more impressive resume down the road.
