What women really want

Not too long ago, Laura called me from Costco to tell me she'd found a great deal on some jeans (forget the brand). They were $113 a pair, regularly priced at $180 or something like that. Apparently we have different views on what constitutes a "great deal" on jeans. (Of course we had a discussion about it which involved her mentioning what I view to be a "great deal" on a golf club.)

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on which side of the issue you fall, they didn't have her size. She went to the mall and found a pair of Levis that she liked for $36.
