Not Purple Rain, though I believe I have found the conversation referenced by spaceage and TFT and they are on the trail as to the film. But do they know who said it and what it is?  |

It can be found in two films. It's from the final scene of the original Planet of the Apes, and also the opening scene of the sequel "Beneath the Planet of the Apes".
This is the passage from The Lawgiver's Sacred Scrolls that Dr. Zaius orders Cornelius (Roddy MacDowall) to recite to Taylor (Charlton Heston) as justification for why the apes hate humans.
Sad thing about that passage is there's too much truth to it.
First time I saw the original film I was about 4 or 5 years old and that hunt scene where the humans are being mowed down and captured, and you get the first look at the apes, was about the scariest thing I ever saw.
Great films, and I declare a pox on Tim Burton for what he did when he directed the remake.
