One of the very basic premises was that McGarret would chase a suspect through a sewer tunnel, emerging at the other end with his black suit and white shirt looking like they just came from the cleaners, and his perfect hair still perfect.

Well, it didn't suck as bad as I thought it would, but it still wasn't very good.

All Steve McGarrett ever needed was 5 shot .38 Chiefs Special. His son's basic 'Action Hero Move' is reloading his nine from his high speed SpecOps carry rig. He must have used 10 magazines during the show.

I thought the pilot was ok.  Never watched the original series.  Haven't decided if I'm going to stick with the show.
