What is a bot?  ?? a computer program that executes automated instructions (such as posting in forums)  I thought about writing some bots in the early days of this forum to make it seem more crowded and busier. I figured an Askebot could be built with an rss feed of headlines from wwtdd and a screenscrape from espn.com play-by-play with a sprinkling of "lib". A Torpedobot consisting of "ditto" and "Go Vikings" would get me halfway there. You mean they aren't bots? |

LOL, Thanks for the vote wish, but that level of comedic sophistication is way out of my league. We used to live next door to some folks who immigrated from Moldova. You can't fake the dialect. Dolf is the real deal. They used to say I talked funny. Something like: "stoh, yours family is nicest, and good American next doors neighborhood! you help us out every day to moving to Minnesota. yours is hard to understands when you talk. makes us out loud laughing!! you don't sound good like American joe we hear from when we watch Major Dad on tv in Moldova"Besides, my attention span is way too.. Ooh, look at those two dogs goin' at it. |
