Karma???
« on: December 28, 2006, 03:11:20 PM »

What does karma stand for underneath our names?
Some people have a rating, with smile and applause.
Please explain, as I have virtually nil computer sense!!(but I think I am getting better!!! Smiley)

If you click on someone's applause link, their karma goes up.
If you cick on someone's smite link, their karma goes down.

You have to give a reason for the smite/karma.

If dystopia disagrees he will have smoted on you bigtime, allegedly.

It's not for every half grin post, just for special ones, funny or not.

Newbies get a couple for free.

Smite should be a last resort.

Use it with care.

Since the "what is Karma?" question seems to get asked every week or so, it might be an appropriate topic for a sticky for a while...

They didn't "sticky" the part about getting your finger in the belt of that new sander on the front of the box did they?
