I just read Eagleone's post at FGI and I feel gutted!

I feel for his wife, himself and his girls.
Why is it that we are posting on these sites, having fun, and a laugh, will never meet or see each other(except for the boys lucky enough to arrange a game of golf). But in a way we all feel like an extented family, and when something bad happens to one of us, we feel terrible?
Does anybody else feel this way?

No, can't say that I've ever thought of it that way.
But I'm really visual....I have to see people, or pictures of them, to get an emotional connection thing going.
ps, with the largest private practice on the internets, it's my professional opinion, given the stated symptoms, that Mrs Eagleone is experiencing a touch of mastitis.

Having met many FGI'ers and nerds off the internet, definitely you feel a connection to some more than others. E1 is one of the guys you root for so I hope everything works out.
Primarily, I feel bad for anyone targetted by Jderion's death squad.

News travels fast these days and we just returned no more than 20 minutes or so. Blader - your command of the entire internet and international man of knowledge never ceases to amaze me. You got it right.
The great news is it is Mastitis. The doc told us that it we caught it early enough that it wouldn't require any surgical draining and will be treated for the next 10 days with antibiotics.
