So the cheerleader is a rapist killer and the politician's brother can only fly when his brother who can fly is around (I'm thinking he might start discovering other "powers" when other "supers" are in his proximity?). Hiro is a time travelling samurai from the future? Holy *feces* this is getting good.

Oh, I thought that the politician's brother's ability was to take on the powers of anyone nearby, sort of like Rogue, but they aren't really his powers. This show has really mastered the art of leaving you saying "WTF?!! give me more!" with the last 5 minutes of each episode.

Also the politician mentioned he was married, but he said she away for some reason I didn't catch. Where was the wife during his speech? Grrr, I need to pay more attention when I watch this show.

I hadn't thought about the stripper's alt-ego, but it sorta makes sense. I wonder where they're going with it and if she'll end up being a good guy or bad guy. I'm actually having a hard time telling if any of them are good or bad or if it's a sliding scale.
I'm also wondering about the teaser re: saving the cheerleader in order to save the world.
I also missed the part about the politician's wife.

There were two clues that made me think the stripper's alter-ego was the missing husband. It could be a stretch, but the way her son, the boy-genius, said that his father is "in a place where they'll never find him" had an ominous tone to it. Also, in the elevator of the hotel after she roughs up the dude, the manner in which she said something like "don't mess with our son" made me think they were suggesting it was the father saying it. Granted, using the word "our" would also have worked if it was just your everyday split personality, but that what I immediately thought of. Oh yeah, also, when the stripper went to her mother-in-law, there was some sort of connection between some of the people she's finding dead and her missing husband. As if he's getting revenge on former associates through her. It could just be a red herring, though, as shows like this seem to enjoy keeping viewers guessing. The teaser is very interesting, I have no theories about that, but I can't wait to see everyone converge in one place.

The stripper found her husband's ring 'out in the deserts'. I assume while she was burying the bodies. I sort of figured that the husband was one of the older bodies that her alter-ego had buried (which would explain why she found his ring there), but the stripper and the boy didn't seem to think the husband was dead. As for the Japanese guys -- did Hiro get knocked out by that same evil power-blocker guy, or was the shadowy figure someone else? And, I agree about the politician's wife -- unless there's something weird going on, a politician's wife should have been at the speech, but we only saw the mom and the brother. (Must be something weird going on )

(Must be something weird going on ) I thought Hiro was knocked out by the same guy just because Hiro wasn't able to stop time to block him, and he easily took Hiro down. I vaguely remember the politician talking about mentioning his wife and something about his father's funeral at his speech, but I had thought his father died quite some time ago. I might be imagining that.

FYI, for anyone that missed an episode and wants to catch up, there's a Heroes marathon tonight on NBC.

I thought the guy that thwapped Hiro was just a henchmen of the guy that they cheated at cards. (Pretty dumb taking/swapping his cards and letting his buddy play them as his own, hard not to notice).
I would have thought the 'powered' guy would just have stood there and laughed as Hiro looked like he was trying to pump up his head, unable to use his timestop thingy. Hiro doesn't speak much English and he didn't know that his 'friend' had set him up for a smack with his superpower talk. The rolled up nosepaper on the nose bad puppy thing came as a surprise to him.
They said the Petrelli dad had been gone for 6 months.
The women are vigilante death dealers, which is nice....
