As of September 4th, Gander Mountain is becoming a warehouse, like Sportsman's Guide. No more shopping through the aisles. Just walk in, head to the counter, order what you want, pay, and walk out with it. I've always enjoyed browsing the aisles, looking for nothing in particular. It's an interesting store. And quite a few times, while just planning to spend a few moments relaxing, I've found something to give to someone else. Catalogs just aren't the same.  On the bright side, they have some good deals right now.  |

Sorry for the scare. I think if anything happened to someone in my family, I'd be just a tad bit more than kinda sad, though.

I'm not doubting you but I find this hard to believe that they would change the format of their stores so radically.
