Yeah, this place already gets that vibe occasionally, which is unfortunate. Sad

I just would hate to see a scenario where a GolfHo gets in a flame war with a random person on another forum (not necessarily fgi), and that person could track them back to here, kind of like Seņor poopflingster did in another thread.  And that person could find info like names of kids or drug usage history or things like that.  This would have been more difficult with a section not indexed in the search engines.

Especially when there are sites like the Internet Archive which are crawling the Net and saving webpages forever.

I don't really know if it's a good idea or not.  I'm hoping that the idea is discussed/debated a little more, and, if it's determined that it's even worth pursuing, then we put it to a vote.

It's also possible that we could try it for a month, then decide it was a mistake, and get rid of it.

If we have it nobody is forced to use it.  I'd just throw it out there and see what happens.  Can't be any less traveled than As It Lies or the Swapshops.   Wink

To be honest, it'd be a good spot for all these posts people keep throwing at me exploring my gheyhoodiness.

If we had such a section, there is a strong possibility that a certain thread might have been more along the lines - "Here is a picture of my family jewells," along with the corresponding picture.  That just might be too much for members to handle. Grin
