Lunch?
« on: December 30, 2007, 03:54:19 PM »

The wife is working today and therefore can't fulfill her wifely duties of making me lunch while I watch football, I was left to fend for myself. Since she hasn't gone shopping in a few days, and I don't know where the grocery store is, I had to be creative with what we had around the house. I ended up combining a kielbasa, some frozen chicken tenders, a yellow bell pepper, a green bell pepper, a yellow onion, canned tomatoes, brown rice, cayenne pepper, some Cholula hot sauce, and various other random herbs/spices into a makeshift jambalaya of sorts. I have to say it turned out pretty kick-ass. Obviously andouille instead of kielbasa, and some shrimp or crayfish, would have made a big difference, but all in all a pretty satisfying experiment.

What's for lunch at your house?

10 oz. Boneless Sirlion Steak, baked potato, Texas toast, and salad was my lunch.  Not sure what dinner will be yet.

I had a can of Campbell's Chunky Fully Loaded Beef Stroganoff for lunch.

I thought the black label and extreme packaging would have meant for a hearty meal, but I was left unsatisfied. Undecided

That's surprising.

The label clearly states "Fully Loaded".

Sardines in mustard sauce with a hot sauce topper.  Roasted garlic Triscuits.  Beer.

I'll have a V-8 with a Vodka chaser later, for a veggie.

I don't play golf anymore.   Well, maybe I do sort of.  I quit keeping score, started drinkning beer and I started playing better.
