Sci-fi in R&R
« on: February 15, 2008, 12:59:53 PM »

We have Maiden's To Tame A Land, Bowie's Major Tom, Elton John's Rocket Man, BOC's Veteran Of The Psychic Wars and just for stroh Billy Thorpe's Children of the Sun.   Wink

On the fantasy front we have Zeppelin's Ramble On

Tons more out there I'm sure.  Think about about and throw down some titles.  I bet there are a bunch - much more than we might initially think.

This is one of my all-time favorites.  Queen is one of the few bands where all the members could bring it vocally.

Weve taken too much for granted, And all the time it had grown
From techno seeds we first planted, Evolved a mind of its own.

Ps. I like Billy Thorpe  Smiley

Russell is more of a Billy Thorpe fan than I, his favourite Billy Thorpe song is "Mama".

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast,Up into the black sky so vast
Burning metal through the atmosphere, Earth remains in worry, hate and fear

Ps. I still like Billy Thorpe.  Smiley

Queen vid

One of my 'guilty pleasure' groups. I don't know what it is but I've always liked them. Maybe the topper was watching Live Aid and thinking *feces*, I would love to see these guys live.

Alan Parsons Project has a few songs as well as Yes.

Styx "Kilroy was here" album.

I'm just checking in quickly and have to run so I don't have time to post videos. Perhaps later.
