It's a long weekend here as it was ANZAC day on Friday. I went to the ANZAC day service, (as Georgia marched with the girl guides) and it was really moving, I got a bit teary in parts of it. Friday afternoon Russell, Georgia and I played golf, well Georgia drove the buggy. Today is Saturday I am playing golf this afternoon, Russell is working, and Georgia is going away for the weekend. I suspect Sunday might be a little bit like Saturday except Russell will be playing golf.

Wasn't Australia populated with a bunch of criminals from England?
(Come to think of it, the US was too)

Yes and we are proud of it, we certainly don't want to come from any of those toffee-nosed nancy-pansy law abiding pommy citizens.

No activities planned. Maybe a bit of reading. Definitely working on a doily. (I really want to finish it, but that sure won't happen this weekend.) Possibly ponder and probably procrastinate buying a new set of crochet hooks. (I really don't need a whole new set, especially at $34, but I can only get the hook I need if I buy a whole set. Maybe I have a 40% off coupon somewhere....) Oh yeah, and we have a chiropractic appointment tomorrow.

Started working at 10:30. Took two hours off to watch 'Best 100 songs of the 80s' on VH1. Buzzed to SLC to do some server config stuff. Home at 10:00 or so. Another hour exorcising new server config demons. Now 11:20 and I'm done for the day. I love weekends.

Did some yardwork today, walked the dog, went clothes shopping, paid an impromptu visit to mom and dad's place. Had some dinner there, got a little bit drunk. Came home and watched the Jazz beat the Rockets (barely), got a little bit more drunk (Sailor Jerry is teh debil, btw). Tomorrow, going to my brother's place to finally replace leaky rocker gasket on bike (he's the guy with the bike jack and the tools), and, if time allows, will ride afterwards. Working Monday, off Tuesday, fly to San Francisco Wednesday (sorry No-Cal Hos, been warned with a zero tolerance policy this time, perhaps next time ), drive to Half Moon Bay on Thursday, fly home Monday. I love weekends and holidays.
