textbooks! they only use them for about a year 2 max, so selling them back is next to impossible, and they want $130 per book even for some used. one of my next books was $189.95 NEW, luckily, I got to buy the old edition that they will not buy back at the end of the semester, but it was only $55.

Whilst I don't condone "theiving", sometimes "finding" things is an option. I once had a friend who was always finding things.... like cars especially when he had to get home from the pub late at night...  |

Let's just say that some of the articles of clothing I have seen on store hangers in the name of  fashion would make a green and blue camo combo look like something made for a queen. There is no sense of clash right now, so it would fit right in. I'm not even going to start trying to say what my thought on the current styles are.  |

it really is *feces*. most of the time the has to sell either 10k or 20k before authors even get a $.01 back for their time (aside from the 'prestige', etc) |

My daughter, when she won't help me get my socks on or my shoes tied when I'm at my "winter weight." Oh, and those idiots who wiz by you on those annoying sounding crotch rockets at double the speed limit. I consider this phenomenom a perfect example of Darwin's survival of the fittest postulate. Plus, if you're going to ride a motorcycle, get a Harley like a real man, for God's sake. While you're at it, take off those stupid looking racing team leathers. Nobody thinks you look anything other than pathetic.

LMAO. Not everyone rides like that. I know Stroh, but the ones that do always seem to be around me. Coming home from work today, one of them was behind me approaching a red light, doing backwards wheel stands where he was slamming on the front stoppers, causing his rear wheel to leave the ground by about 4 feet. Very annoying. If I wasn't shoeless and sockless, I'd have pried myself from behind the steering wheel and told him to save that happy crappy for the interstate where he could get to the speed necessary to "cull the herd", so to speak. |
