It's the best holiday we do as a family: We all go over to BIL#2 parents house, where they block the cul-de-sac off and blow *feces* up. All day. We eat about 4, and then blow more *feces* up.

 We got a few little crackling things and some snap - n - pops for Maddie. She's not really into anything more than that. One of these days I'll make the run across the river to Wisconsin, get some decent stuff, and hope I don't get arrested coming back across the border with it. If I get arrested lighting it off at home; Let's just say it won't be the first time. |

Not sure what we are going to do. I was going to finally assemble my friends irons but my chop saw broke. See rant over at that other place. I'm eating dinner with my parents and brother tomorrow before my bro goes back out on tour. He's a roadie for Joe Bonamassa BTW, which is cool for him. The fireworks all start at 10:00 pm, not sure if we'll try to find a place to watch them with the toddler. Maybe do a little swimming and bbq'n at my parents this evening. Or hang out with some friends at our place. The goal is to do as little as possible and stay out of the head as much as possible. And drink as much as possible.

we were actually gonna go do the local muni FireWorks show, but it's raining here all day so far. decided we'll stay in, watch some movies, cook some burgers/corn/fries and maybe watch the city fireworks on local tv (assuming they are on)

Rearranged the garage this morning. Trying to be able to park one car in there. (a car can now fit, but it's tight opening the doors)

We're out of town for a long weekend. My oldest and I ran a race this morning, hung out, did some biking, and played mini-golf this afternoon and now we're going to check out the local fireworks.

We spent the morning at the Atlanta Zoo with the kids, before heading back to the neighborhood. We had two gatherings/dinners going on in the cul-de-sac this evening. After dinner, we joined the 2 parties togetheer to blow *feces* up. My neighbor went up to TN on Wednesday, my wife on Friday. My wife won, much to the chagrin of my neighbor who has vowed to be victorious next year.
Growing up in MN, we crossed the border to WI to get the good stuff. Now, we run an hour north and cross the border to TN to get the good stuff.
Good day with family and neighbors, all the way around.
