It will happen when you want it to happen.

Sometimes life gets in the way of us wanting to do things.

I was going to start a diet today, but yesterday I got a phone call from a friend and we are going to have a reunion lunch with girls I used to work with 10-15 years ago.  They haven't seen Georgia since she was a toddler.
So I had better go (2 hour drive) and whoops there go's the diet. Grin Grin

Grin  Thanks Jules.  I'm ready.  I keep putting it off because it's hard.  I keep looking for the right time.  There is no door that will open, or light that will come on.

I just need to man up, face it and do it.

Stroh,

I quit almost three years ago (although I cheat every now and then with a cigar).  If you want kicked in the ass, let me know. Devil

Really, it wasn't that hard.

I quit 10 years ago cold turkey.

And if there is a line to kick your ass I'm in. Grin

Air quotes tried  Air quotes to quit dozens of times. The day I decided I was serious about it and not simply  Air quotes trying  Air quotes to quit, it was among the easiest things I ever did. The habit was much harder to break myself of than the so-called addiction. As for kicking stroh's ass, I'm your huckleberry.

Grin  Reminds me of the line that formed in Airplane to slap the hysterical woman.

One of the biggest problems is about day three, the mood swings and anger make me difficult to be around.

How did you guys deal with that?

Go shopping, eat some chocolate, wear baggy clothes that hide your fat ass. Put on some make-up and go out with all the other girls. You should be fine in a couple days.

Agreed.

Better than what the Steeler fans do.

Quit cold turkey in 2001, after smoking for 11 years. But I don't think I was ever seriously addicted. Good luck.
