 I was actually in a meeting with a gentleman from Portsmouth this afternoon while the game was going on. We were "watching" the game on ESPN.com and he was quite happy.

He was cautiously optimistic but he had a big smile.
And I may have to start rooting for Portsmouth as he works for one of our largest customers and they have a plant there. Just might have to try to schedule a timely visit next season and catch a Premier League soccer game football match.

Portsmouth is a nice town. I spent a lot of time there prior to '75. If you make it over do the HMS Victory tour. Interesting stuff. I have family there. Haven't seen them in years. Maybe I'll come with you. If you all hate the scummers clap your hands

Came home from winning my match today (yeah me!  ) - to find out...... My DVR didn't record the *goshdarn* game!!!!!!!  I failed to double check it, so it could be my fault - but I had it set to record all CL matches all year. The Mancs get it handed to em and I miss it - *fudge*ity *fudge* *fudge*!  |

New car, caviar, four star daydream, ... I did catch the replay on ESPN2 late last night. You're right - for the first 10 minutes it looked like ManU was going to bury them - seriously bury them. Then Eto skinned Vidic for a goal and everything turned on its head. Barca completely controlled the match for the next 80 minutes. |
