not being from the states... but watching some games lately (and enjoying them more) and even getting a bit competitive in wanting to try pickem we got one of these http://www.amazon.com/exe...grabbercpc36-20/ref=nosimso she can start learning to throw and catch (hopefully someday) a real one. i was surprised how well it does actually fly. can get about 30-35 yards on a good throw out of it ... and best of all, no worries she'll hurt her fingers learning how to catch one. |

Really? Youy went with a "game improvement" ball?
I learned by throwing a rugby ball -- the "blades" of your American football, if you will. Oversize, only vaguely an oblate spheroid, very unforgiving of mistakes. It really lets you know when you're doing something wrong, which is great.
