I did a lot of soul searching since I quit the website. I think you're better off with me than without me, because I possess a deep reservoir of information and knowledge that you can benefit from.
I think as long as I keep myself, but not my sock puppets, out of a certain forum where people are constantly baiting and denigrating me after I post something, then we can make this happen.
I'm prepared now to accept your accolades and undying gratitude.

You were gone? Yes. I was SO upset about the way I've been mistreated and misunderstood here, that I quit the forum entirely. It was a VERY difficult decision to quit, and perhaps more difficult to come back. I wracked my brain over it since the moment I announced I was quitting. But the time away allowed me to analyze the entire situation, to put some perspective on it that I probably couldn't have generated had I not quit. So it was quite refreshing. Kinda like spending 30 minutes in a hot rock sauna before diving into a frigid mountain stream, but not exactly. |
