HP C4150 All In One

Anybody have one of these?  Or something similar.

Picked it up 2 days ago.  I like it, but the learning curve is too steep.

I need some help.

Review:  The unit is great, I love it.  The print quality is goo, the stand alone capabilities are nice.  Very compact.  The 3150 is only ~75 bucks.  We got the 4150 @ a buck 15.  The main difference is an added 2 in lcd for easier non/pc assisted photo reproduction.

What I'm having trouble with is:
1. scanning
 a. more specifically into a particular file.  It doesn't seem to give me an option where I want it, what I want to name it, and what kind of file I want it to be.
 b. I can't get it to scan, to what seems like normal size.  it seems to scan to scale

2. formatting. I put a 4x6 picture on there, and choose 8/12x11 paper. it then shows how you can put 3 4x6 on one sheet.  cool up until that point.
what it does is scans and displays the picture then as if the 4x6 is now in one third of the third, of the 8x10.  it's hard for me to type what i'm trying to say.

3. getting a picture from one application to another.  i have Kodak easyshare software, and am ok using it.  i can't get a picture from there to the photsmart editor and vice versa.

a few other things too.

do you have adobe photoshop or a similar program   ?
use that and acquire the scan as a twain32   input     instead of using the bundled scan software
