EAGLE/Torpedo, what OS are you running?
CW, while this is a relevant question it also might not be the reason they can see the site. Most DNS servers around the internet act in a caching capacity. The servers which are authoritative for a domain hold the actual data and they serve it to other DNS servers which ask for it. There's an attribute associated with each host/record which tells the client server how long it should cache those values. So in the FGI scenario it's possible that the Minnesota twins' ISP asked for the data just before the root servers stopped pointing to FGI's nameservers. If the TTL is 24 hours the ISP would serve up the correct address for that amount of time. Once the deadline is reached those servers would attempt to refresh the cached records. This time, the root servers would direct the request to NS0.EXPIREDDOMAINSERVICES.COM and NS2.EXPIREDDOMAINSERVICES.COM and the DirectNIC page would be displayed. Hope this helps. Very good answer. But Kev and I aren't any of the players of our favorite baseball team. Nor are we twins. However, I like the nickname.

NS0.EXPIREDDOMAINSERVICES.COM
that's my homepage
I'm very sure that it is. I have 3 homepages in FX. But in IE, I only have this one. Why is it my homepage? 'Cause it loads quickly on a dial-up connection (not to mention the slow moving sluggishness of IE), of course!

Still down.
I'm still down too, been down all morning, even when I try the little fixes you all have suggested. But I am delusional.

I barely understand this explanation, but I think something else might be going on. I've been able to access a functional FGI intermittently all day.

Not to worry, it's all a minor "brown out" while my sycophant learns to adjust to his new duties. All will be well with patience and time.

Copulation induced hallucinations... Or syphilis.... Which when you think about it are the same thing.

I just don't understand how your previous explanation explains why I can load up a perfectly normal FGI website, and then minutes later, it fails to load and goes to that no longer exists page, and then minutes later, it loads perfectly normally, and then minutes later, it fails to load, etc, etc. ps, to the best of my knowledge, hallucinations are not among the spectrum of symptoms associated with neurosyphilis
