I'm surprised 3rd party games don't void the warrantee too.

If I understand Aske correctly, at some point I believe that is their plan.

That is so typical for SONY.  I used to work in music distribution.  All the Sony distributed labels would look to me to get rid of tonnage of their crap.  I was able to move a lot of product overseas. I was a hero to most of those guys who were able to make their numbers.

Sony distribution then threatened to stop selling product to us for selling their product overseas!
