I don't care much for The Home Depot.
Lowes is Home Depot, only blue.

We mostly go to Menard's(lousy store credit merchandise check rebate givin' mother*fudge*ers!)but I digress.

Probably regional.  It's the same in size and compatible products, although DeWalt dropped their affiliation with them, and those are the only power tools I like.

Otherwise, I like the store much better, easier to find things, etc.

You guys?

Here it's the local Hornbach -- about as close as I get to a Lowe's/Home Depot.

Back in the States have been to both but the HD was closer so picked that one.

Right now Home Depot.  Assuming, of course, you meant sTore instead of sore.  Devil

Mainly cuz its just a couple of minutes away. We've a local 'building center' that is nice as well.

If it's "little" things I love going to my local Ace Hardware, it's a small store, couple o' old dudes, very knowledgeable, always a smile, but if it's "big" things I have no choice but to go to either Lowes or Home Depot.

Since they're clones I generally choose whichever is the most current NASCAR champion.

Uhhhhhhhhhh FYI, that would be Lowes this year, just so you know.

I prefer Lowe's.  I just feels like less of a warehouse than Home Depot.  But when I have trouble finding an oddball item, I can usually find it at the local True Value.  I just have to wonder how long they can last if everyone is like me.

But Lowe's is also the most convenient for me to go to.

Home Depot for me.  Problem here is that they relocated their closest store to my house and now Lowes is closer by 10 minutes...

No Menard's here.  I prefer Lowes to Home Depot, it's easier to find stuff at the lowes around here.

Lowe's and Home Depot are equidistant from me and within 200 yards of one another.

Home Depot here is better for home improvement things (e.g. lumber, fasteners) -- more the building projects than the interior finishing projects.  OTOH, Lowe's is better for decorating-type stuff.
