Inspired by the Yum/Yuck game. Here are the rules. Say 1 truth and 2 lies, and everyone else has to guess. First person to guess correctly has to say their own. I'll start.

Nope. I know I'll get flamed for this....   The correct answers: 1. false 2. true 3. false Every embryo at conception is a default female. In humans, at 6 weeks into pregnancy there is a testosterone spike as a result of the Y chromosome which triggers the growth of male organs.   Since nobody got it right, open to anyone who wants to admit to something bizarre.  |

The mullerian duct common to both early stage male and females (which goes on to become the female bagina and other 'private parts' if its development is unimpeded) regresses in embryonic males in response to secretion of a transforming growth factor family member called, incisively enough, anti-mullerian hormone. The hormone is derived from sertoli cells in the embryonic male testes. This moment in the embryology of human ****ual organs is brought to you as a public service by the folks at Blader Industries, Inc., where copulation is no less important than the survival of the species. |
