The Decline of Chat

Remember back when people actually went into chat? These days (nights), I glance at the top banner and rarely see that anyone is logged in.
What happened to it? Did we get tired of all the junk talk? Did we learn everything about each other and run out of things to say?

I rarely venture in there anymore, but only because it's like a time vacuum. I log into chat at 8:30ish and it's 1:00 am before I know it. As if junk talk could ever get old.

spaceage brings up a good point. Plus the last couple of Thursday/Fridays I've been out or busy and those are two nights it's most likely I'll stay up later.

Same here. It's tough, too. Because I'm such a wallflower, that it takes so much booze to get me to even go in there.......then more to open up a little. Bam! Next thing you know, I'm on my second beer, already! LOL or whiskey Coke, or whatever. Then, when the junk talk starts flyin'.....and then I have to be right back, and oh, the lights! The colors! WHEW! Testify! No spell check sucks. No Aske either. Where the *fudge* has he been? I cain't type worth a *feces* amhway. |
