I Hate That *goshdarn* Phrase!!!!

Pedestrians do not have the right-of-way!!!Damn it! There are certain circumstances where at an intersection, crosswalk, or conditions mandate that motorized vehicles yield first to pedestrians.........but there is not a blanket statement, and or *fudge*in' law that states "Pedestrians have the right-of-way"!!! I'm sick of it! I'm sick of hearing that phrase! I'm tired of every Joe *8==>* that wants to cross the road in front of me, or every suburbanite family out for a spring bike ride, thinks I need to come to a complete stop to let their cavalcade cross a thoroughfare with traffic buzzing about!!! All at the expense of being "flipped off" , or yelled at! Learn the *fudge*in' rules yourself! And while I'm at it.........If I'm turning right onto a 2 lane road, and you're coming at me, and turning left onto the same 2 lane road..........guess what *8==>*head?  I have the right-of-way!!!!!! Don't give me a dirty ass look, because you think I'm "sneaking in", and cutting you the *fudge* off! You're the one who is wrong! *fudge*!! Seacrest out!

I'm a pedestrian quite a bit during the summer. You all are quite aware that I don't drive; however, that's not to say that I haven't focused on the driving rules for when the day comes. When it comes to driving you really have to be offensive and defensive at the same time. And I think that having that same mindset should be taken on by pedestrians as well. You are right, far too often pedestrians take for granted the "right-of-way" so much that they think they have it during situations that they don't. At the same time, drivers aren't always paying attention at the times they should be. I'd rather give up that "right-of-way" than to be hit. People should also remember that even if they have the "right-of-way" to be careful because a car will do more damage to you than you could do to it.
