Know any good two-player betting games on the course?

I'm about a week away from the Superbowl of my golf season. Every year I get together with a buddy of mine and we have an intensive week of golf, playing from dawn till dusk and feasting like kings with the loser of the day's round(s) buying dinner.
This is our fourth year of doing it, but for the last couple of years, we had more people involved. This year it will just be the two of us going head-to-head everyday.
In the past, the two of us have done regular match play, but that's gotten a little dull as well as Nassaus. I know a lot of foursome games, but not that many 2-person golf games.
Have any of you played any good 2-person golf games or do you usually just do regular match of stroke play against someone?

Thanks. I'd found a couple of good pages with games, but that list is huge!

Thanks. I'd found a couple of good pages with games, but that list is huge! You're welcome. I've been checking out a few myself. Could be fun. Enjoy your outing. I'm four weeks out from year three of my Bandon trip. It's the highlight "me" time of the year so I know how much you're looking forward to it.

you could play oneball or battle golf. Ah, TW07 games, I had to look these up. One-ball is pretty interesting. I think we'd kill the pace of play with that game. We're going to try to stick with games where we can still have scores for handicap purposes. One-ball is another new game, where you and your opponent share the same ball and alternate shots. The strategy in one-ball lies in trying to set your opponent up with difficult shots so that you're the one left with a makeable putt. If you're the one who drains the putt, you win the hole. Before each shot, a large blue ring that represents the target area appears on the course. This is the area in which your shot must land, or else it's a "betrayal," and you'll lose a turn.
Battle golf, which is a twist on match play, is a new addition. The goal here is to win the most holes--as it always is in match play--but here you are able to remove a club from your opponent's bag after each hole you win.

what it doesn't say about one-ball. the blue circle is of the diameter 1/2 current distance to hole, centered on the hole. so if you're 100 out, you draw a 50 yard circle around the hole. out of bounds and water count as double betrayal. it's easy in the game to stuff your opponent behind a tree or buried in a bunker lip. of course, executing tat in real life.... i have always wanted to try battle golf in real life though

I'd read about something like battle golf before, but it was called Pick Up Sticks: http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthread.php?t=9073

This game amuses me -- what club would you grab first? (And, do you have to carry it in your own bag? Could be interesting if you're walking the course )

If my opponent subscribed to the "use only one club around the green" style of shortgame, I would pick that club. If not, I'd see if they had a "goto" club off the tee, like a hybrid or FW that they use just to get it into play.
