Would You?

Smoke dope if it was either legal, or not tested @ work?
I ask only because my jobless, toking brother says the only reason I have not been high in 10 years is because of my job..I have not been tested in a while, and to be honest, a positive for weed would be a nice vacation. So what say you, would you do it?

Unlikely. They don't test at my job (in Berkeley ), but I don't really have any interest any more. Then again, I'm not around people that smoke very much these days.

That pretty much sums up my response...I really don't have the interest...though it is widely available here.

No.
Have never and wouldn't start now.
Didn't try it in high school, or college, or at any point after. Now I'm a parent have an example to set. "Do as I say, not as I do" wouldn't have worked for me as a kid looking up to my dad, and I'm likewise going to do better than that for my kids.

so i guess the question would be, do you drink?

so i guess the question would be, do you drink? I guess the first distinction would be that alcohol isn't illegal (if you're of legal age, obviously). That said, I could just say that I don't drink, but that wouldn't be entirely true. I'm not a tea totaler. But without exaggeration, my alcohol consumption probably averages about a six pack of beer per year. And that is consumed in the summer months. I just never developed a taste or liking for alcohol. I remember as a kid that my dad did drink beer, though I never recall seeing him drunk. He drank Stroh's, and sometimes Bud, and he would let me have a sip.

To the question: No. I (for whatever reason) never liked pot. (sorry Walfredo ) I am a former drug user. I have done every drug there is. It was a very great, and very dark time in my life. I laughed when I saw this thread, because my wife and I just had this conversation a few days ago. She was a big pot smoker, and said if she had the chance, (if it was in front of her) she would not do it. She looked at me, and said if it was in front of you(cocaine, meth, shrooms, acid, etc.), I know you would. Depending on the circumstances, I probably would. I have not, since it has not ben in front of me for 9 years. Since my daughter was born. I drink.

nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself,It's a little more honest than: 'Senator, I can't recall' In general, I don't dope anymore. But like all general statements, there can be exceptions.
