No idea. They're both enormous wastes of bandwidth though. (Xipo could easily be Ringer, trying to jump on the kosovogolfer bandwagon, an doing a poor job of it. Kind of like when he was trying to copy blader's fake corporation gig.) And I'm the one who keeps getting posts deleted by FGIMarshal.  |

No clue on either. Thehose is insufferably lame, and xipo is definitely a poor kosovogolfer imitation. Make a list of the guys who think they're funny but aren't funny. It's probably one of them.

I can't figure out theHose. He keeps talking about bowling and once referenced a bowling forum. As for Xipo, it's funny you said that, spaceage, I also thought it might be Ringer.
As you said, he was imitating blader for a while with the corporation thing, and before that, he had a phase where he was starting unlabeled link threads just like Aske.
And the time when Darkside was doing his "I'm FGIMarshal" posts, Ringer followed up with his "Do you think FGImarshal is me?" thread.

There are a couple of people there who I really like, and I'd miss the swap shop, so I'm torn.

Definitely a very poor Dolf copycat. I don't know who. I went back and re-read all of the Xipo posts in chron. order. The progression is obvious. The first post isn't close, in style, to the last; with a couple in the middle being basically Yoda quotes.(Uh, NO.  ) The pic posted in the Hops thread is the most out of charachter, and prob points to the leading candidate. I have to be honest though. The Hose has me stumped. Some of the sh1t is kinda funny.  |

That place actually has been a little better in the last week or so. There's still a lot of goodwill there (fgi ryder cup/swapshop), so I'm not leaving it completely. I bet that the place could even return to its glory days over time, but it would be a difficult process and would require some pruning. The thing that bugs me the most is that the people running it no longer seem interested in what's going on or any of the site's problems. |
