The US Open goes to a playoff which, as we all know, means a full-round playoff on Monday. We also know that most folks, myself included, work on Mondays. So I spend the entire day in hiding: oblivious to all knowledge. I shun the Internets. I actually hang a *goshdarn* sign on my door warning coworkers that I'm recording the US Open to watch later tonight, so don't freaking talk to me about results. In short, I maintain a complete and impenetrable Stroh Mode: totally insulated from all knowledge. Wrapping things up before leaving work, I check my email. And there's a message from lostgolfballs.com, its subject line trumpeting, "TIGER WOODS WINS US OPEN! 15% OF ALL GOLF BALLS!" Mother *fudge*ers.  |

Five bucks says it was printed instead of hand-written and he tried at least a dozen font styles/sizes/weights before he settled. |
