finally got home about 30' in here to this game.
see villa grimacing, and aragones finally putting fabregas in, in the 1st half. i'd rather see iniesta and xavi out... based on play in earlier games. villa must really be hurt.

So just now turning this on and it's at half, was the first one boring? Highlights were meh.

the announcers fellating the players with the "he would have scored if the field wasnt wet, blah blah" is pretty tiresome, it's like the johnny miller tiger woods lovefest. but yeh, it hasn't been as engaging as I hoped. while the conditions do make some impact, no doubt, i always found aggressive play suceeds more in the mud, keep the defenders afraid of slipping, etc. both of these teams (in the 15 minutes i saw so far) seem far too timid. |
