Lead story headline today in The Mipless Star and Tribune sports section written by the Twins' beat writer reads:
Derailed, but still on track.

Come On! 

If he or the editor missed it or let it pass you're a *goshdarn* idiot, and that's why this paper is a joke.

If it was on purpose, Yogi *fudge*in' Berra you're not.  Stick to what you're paid to do.



Am I wrong, or if something is derailed then it can not be, by definition, still on track!  Angry

In defense of the beat writer I believe they have little to do with the headlines which are written by someone else. I've been following the financial situation of the Strib a bit in the last few months so it doesn't surprise me. Within a couple years I firmly believe we'll be down to one daily paper in the metro.
