Do you have PowerBoost or Blast service? I don't think so. I have the cheapest, base service. Well, that's *goshdarn* bull*feces*. I have the highest-priced plan, and my downstream is worse than yours and upstream only marginally better.   I just tried it again and got  It may just be good for me at this time of day. I'll try it again tomorrow during the day. |

Having little knowledge about this stuff, I ask "Does having a wireless setup linking the 2 puters to the cable modem degrade the speed to the puters? Using G wireless.

Having little knowledge about this stuff, I ask "Does having a wireless setup linking the 2 puters to the cable modem degrade the speed to the puters? Using G wireless.
it shouldnt (significantly) unless it is set up incorrectly. G is capable of handling (in ideal situations) far faster signals than comcast is giving you. |
