Who's the best golfer in your family?

Feel free to interpret family as whatever you'd like (immediate or otherwise).
I'll be playing a round with my father-in-law and brother-in-law tomorrow and this made me think of an interesting topic. For most of my life, my dad (not FIL) has been a better golfer than me. In the last 2 years, I've probably surpassed him, which is mostly due to his getting older and a little to do with my getting better.
However, when I got married last year, I married into a family where my father-in-law is his country club's senior champion and he's much better than me. So I think I only had 1 year where I could have considered myself the best golfer in my family.
How about you?

It used to be my dad, but he's gotten older, bad joints, doesn't play as much, etc. Now, sadly, it's probably a tossup between my older brother and me. I'm more consistent off the tee, around the greens, and putting. He's a much better irons player than me. Occasionally either one of us will have a truly brilliant game or a truly embarrassing game. Sometimes within the same round.

That would be me. My two brothers-in-law and Father-in-law golf and are pretty good considering they don't get out a lot. I enjoy playing with them.
On my side, unfortunately, there aren't any golfers. My brother has maybe golf 5 times and my dad doesn't play.

Karen has 2 brothers that are really good.(third doesn't play.) Oldest, now doesn't play much at all, but in his prime, was scratch or better. Played big time here, knows Lehman, and some other big names. I watched him hit wedge shots one day, and must have banged 5 or more off the pin from a buck 10, or better. Impressive. Karen's youngest is close. He has slipped a bit, (for various reason. Work, kids, etc.) Still single digit, and lights out when he wants to be. He is Mr. Power. Longest drives I've ever seen. In person. He is my main golfing buddy/partner. He(of course) always kills/toys with me. pisses me off. Me: I am teh sukk.

Me. I can see where this going. I don't think you do! I have to admit that he is the better golfer. I haven't come close to beating him. However, he and I did tie 2 holes.

Me.
Dad was a bogey golfer when he was still with us. Sisters and mom don't play.
Brother in law struggles to break 100. (says he broke 90 but he doesn't even know that a gimme means you count a stroke for the putt from the gimme spot to the hole)
Have an uncle that's about a 10hc

So far as I know, Sal and I are the only ones in either of our families that play.
As of now, my index is about 12 and hers is about 25.
That said, her game is progressing nicely, and overall, if she could hit it farther, she would probably be a more complete player than I am.
If we played match play with 13 handicap strokes , I bet she would win quite a few holes.
Her index comes from a few triples/quads not from consistent doubles.

You don't have to be nice about it. I have openly admitted that my putting sucks!

Tis I. Wish it wasn't though. My son and daughter are 6 so I reckon I have 8 or so years left at the top, if I work hard.
