Never would I eat somewhere where the "tip" is pre determined. Sub standard service is almost a guarantee. What is the incentive for the waitstaff to excel? That being said, if you knew going in that was the deal......  |

Secondly, the owner is going to comp $75 but then gets butthurt about $15? Way to lose $, moron. Third, mandatory gratuities are essentially tax shelters for the owner, on top of the whole tip scheme to begin with.

I once ordered a "Double Hamburger" Kid's Meal thinking it came with two hamburgers. When I looked in the bag and saw only one, I returned with my bag and showed the manager my receipt. He looked in the bag, opened the burger from its wrapper, and said, "Yes, the order is correct. We gave you a hamburger with two patties." |
