Okay, I will start!  It's a bit scarey, especially being in the company of "spacey, and star-wars, types of people"!!!!! I remember going to see the movie, "Encounters of the Third Kind", and I found it so terrible, and boring in the first 10-15 minutes, I got up, and left and went shopping.!!!!!!! What is your worst movie!!!! |

Too many to recall of hand. But I recently caught some of "Battlefield Earth" on HBO. It was so bad, I had to wonder how it ever got into production, and especially how about 1/4 into production, the entire film was not halted and scraped.

Lot's of bad movies. I know I have never actually walked out on one. I actually don't watch a lot of movies anymore, so I'm having a tough time trying to pick one I thought really sucked.
Surprised on the Close Encounters call. One of the best classics made.

Battlefield Earth was basically a production of the Hollywood Church of Scientology, which explains why it wasn't killed off or at least shelved.
Still wasn't as bad as Pearl Harbor, which wasn't as bad as Gods and Generals...

I was all set to nominate Hollywood Knights when you reminded me of Gods and Generals. I don't think I've ever expected more and received less from a movie. It was just awful. |

Never actually saw Battlefield Earth and Gods and Generals because those obviously were going to suck.
Now the two worst movies I can think of that I couldn't even watch more than 30 minutes are
Open Range (OMG it was like they were writing the script drunk right before filming, a complete joke of a film)
Be Cool (What they did to Get Shorty with the sequal was criminal, the movie literally made fun of you for being stupid enough to watch it)

My wife made me sit through "The bridges of Madison county".
It was horrible! No explosions, no Kung Fu fighting, no car chases, no gratuitous ****!
I was able to sleep for a short while until she caught me and pinched my leg.
