I have no animosity towards that other board like some folks do. Never had a problem there really - and have lots of friends there. But I just posted an entry into the 'possibly personal attack' mode there - and I await possible moderation. An acid test of sorts. Will let you know the results. Your opinion - is calling someone a 'freaking IDIOT' considered personal ??  |

Between the Wie thread and the Hitting into Group thread I must have had 4-5 posts typed up, reviewed and then decided against posting. I feel better this morning not having entered the fray. |

Some just wanted to get away from a place where one of three posts are fine, one of three are part of a sponsor/equipment war and one of three are full of diatribe and hate. It might be better now but when I bailed it resembled a cross between a meth house and a kindergarten class. Certainly don't mean to impugn the classy folks that were and possibly still are active members over there. There were plenty but the signal-to-noise ratio was taking a beating. |

Fuzzy, I wish I did as you did. I wish I just stayed out. What I read last night was ..... I don't know, can't think of the right words. I think Uisce said it close enough for me. I have never ignored a user anywhere but I was mighty tempted last night. In fact I am still temped today with the continuing :airquotes:opinions  . I admit I still enjoy the board but sometimes it leaves a bitter taste. The worst part about it is that this never bothered me before. |

The last few days, it's been quite trying. Between the myriad Michelle Wie threads, the A-Rod thread, and the handful of folks who seem to live for negativity and to see just how much courtesy they can shed ...  . Having met a lot of guys from online, I know that most are different in person. But some of these guys? If they acted halfway in person like they do on-line, I can't imagine ANYONE liking them. |

True - I edited it before posting - it was just him originally, but I figured there were others that needed judgment too   I'm usually pretty tame online, I avoid things like the Wie thread and such, but this one really got under my skin. People that think violence is a solution to problems... obviously need their asses kicked (too hypocritical? ). |
