My little Aaron
« on: August 05, 2007, 03:55:06 PM »

Hi guys, haven't talk to you guys for yonks... but for obvious reason.... For the last few months I have few new things happening to me....

Trying to learn to commit with married life, new job (good pay work sucks), a new swing coach.... and the most unexpected.... expecting a new child of us.  Tongue

There's a reason why contraception is avaliable everywhere... but I didn't take advantage of it. There was one stage we actually make booking for abortion... but after some deep thoughts we decided to keep the little one. (At the end of the day, the baby is innocent)

Life has changed dramatically since the decision... lots of worries, concerns, pain and slap on my face (not really, but peg woman do gives you *feces*) After 41 weeks of waiting, we have this new member in our house. Smiley

The following is the short version of full story.

Little Aaron born at 20th July 2007 23:47. Weight: 8.8 lbs Length: 55cm. (Pretty big baby for a small lady)

While all the sign shows the baby will come before the due date, the baby didn't came 10 dates after the due date. In fact Christine was in a lots of pains/sickness cause by contractions, back and lots of other things, you name it. Christine has been pretty much crying everyday due to the pains.

Long story short, we finally get to go to Logan Hosipital at 19th 6pm and start the inducment. (Nurses kicked me outta the place) and 12 hours later when I came back to hosipital they start injecting extra medicine to help the induce. But little Aaron being so stubborn so they have to increase the dose 100% every 1 or 2 hours. Again Chrsitine went thru lots of more serious pains and it hurts me to see this happen.

But the "thing" is not fully open until another 12 hours later. Doctor able to put his hand to check the baby but he gave us a not so good news.... bub's face is not facing the correct direction. But at that point they are still very confident they can have the baby comes out with normal laboring. So we just have to leave it to their good hand.

Another 5 hours of hard trying. We can actually see the baby's head, but the little stubborn one still don't want to come out... even Christine was doing a fantistic job. But at the point baby's heart beat was reaching crazy high (210 bpm) and Christine's pluse and bloody pressure were sky high.

The doctor make the call to perform C section because they reckon its too dangeous for both the baby and mum.

We were both in theather 40 minutes later. It really pains me to see Christine got cut wide open  5 mins later we heard the baby's first cry and its a BIG boy. Christine was in lots of pain but still able to give both litle Aaron and me her best smile. Then again I got kick out of the room again

Later they (bloody) told me that she actually was in a very, very critical condition. (Took a geniue to know that ) Christine physically went thru 2 * laboring processes (30+ hours) hence she's very weak at the moment.

Good news is the operation is a very sucessful one. Mum is ok and bub is very, very healthy (and BIG)
