Anyone know one of these people?
« on: August 28, 2007, 07:19:48 PM »

I have a guy at work who is a talker. He always has to talk about what is going on, what he did, what someone else did, what is in the paper. He can't even read the paper without making some sound that makes you ask "what?". Then he must proceed to read the entire article.

We have a nightly turnover at work. Everyone on our shift could just keep quiet because he would tell everything that everyone did as if he was the one that did it.

It just makes me laugh at times.

On a side note he is also an adjuster, always adjusting himself.

Way too funny you should post this right now.  I'm helping my boy with his algebra and walked by one of the front windows.  Our crazy little engineer neighbor is across the street talking to my other neighbor and golf buddy.  I thought, "thank God it's him and not me" as this dude can literally talk about nothing for at least an hour.

He's kinda spooky.  Although he seems to be the nicest guy in the world I've actually told my kids to be very leery of him.

Yeah.  Our mechanic likes to talk.  And talk.  And talk.

It'd be rather humorous if we had the time to listen, but we usually don't.

Engineers are the worst. I deal with them everyday. As I said today, Engineers think like women, it looks good on paper but does not work in reality.

disclaimer: this statement does not apply to all women, only those that are married to men that must perform honey-dos on a weekly basis and that said women think they know to put together a lawnmower engine better then the mechanic spouse that they are married to. This does not apply to women who are married to men that hold jobs such as accountant, actuary, florist, or radiology technician.

Perhaps you should trade-in for a more reliable vehicle. Allow me to recommend a Toyota or a Honda.  Grin

The worst part is that engineers think that they know everything and aren't afraid to let people know about it.

We've had several vehicles.  He's been our mechanic for as long as I can remember, and a friend of our family.

Oh, and I prefer Chevrolet. Cheesy

Errrrrrmmmm.  You've never been to Utah, have you?

The only state in the union where Clinton came in third to Bush and Perot.

Still, we do love our Nipponese cars.   Devil
