This Friday (actually it will be Saturday when it's over) I will hang up my boots and gloves. My career as a keeper will come to an end. My body can only take so much abuse from diving, point blank shots, and yes age.We are in second last place and we play the last place team. We should be able to win this game so it will be nice to go out on a high note. It was fun and I will miss it but there are more important things like friends and family.
Who knows, maybe I'll be able to play a round of golf or two now.

I just started playing indoor again Friday after sitting out since February. I was sore for two days. But I'm sticking it out until I cannot play any longer (38 now) - damn the recovery time, I have a full week before playing again  |
