Adams Tight Lies........
« on: May 04, 2008, 02:09:46 PM »

Well I have an Adams Tight Lies 9 wood which I love.
Lately I've been thinking that I need some new clubs, so I go on ebay and buy and Adams Tight Lies driver, 3wood & 5wood.
I took them out on the driving range Saturday afternoon and I was not impressed with them. Disgusted
I took them out on the course yesterday and they were fantastic, I absolutely love them.
I scored 38 stableford points (36 is playing to your handicap- so 2 under) but I got beaten on a countback.
Oh well there goes my handicap again. (I had a win last week as well). Grin

I've got a Tight Lies 4-wood which has at least an honorary permanent place in my bag. Grin

Guy I knew in school had an Adams (4-wood loft, I think -- the original) that felt good and played quite well.  The Super Concorde knockoff is a pretty good copy, if you can't/won't buy an Adams Tight Lies.

I have Adams Ovation 4 & 7 woods that I care for a great deal. I prefer my hybrids, though, so I don't typically carry them.

There is a theory which states that if anybody ever discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I fail to see how that post serves any real purpose here.
