For those of you who have been following along, you know that I control the outcome of the Euro 2008 matches.  So pick your winner and I will do the rest. Should be a good match and right now I have no strong feelings either way. But rest assured I will be rooting for the loser of this poll vigorously. |

Conversely, if Germany play as *feces*e as they did in the first half v. Turkey then Spain will be 2-0 at half. Prediction: Jens Lehmann loses the match with a howler. Why nobody say magenta no more? cmykftl  Ah well, up Fuschia United!!! |

the only thing more comical than how bad spain will make germany look in this match is the diving clinic *feces*stainer, klose, and ballsack will put on once the germans fall behind. i really used to like this team, but they've turned into azzuri-lite in this area of the game, and it's truly pathetic.

Prediction: Jens Lehmann loses the match with a howler. No argument there, don't like Lehman much, glaring weakness in a pretty stout defense. Spain is a great team, how much will losing Avilla hurt them against a better team like Germany? |

Spain is a great team, how much will losing Avilla hurt them against a better team like Germany? well, when they're already bringing their best player in off the bench 30-40 minutes into the game... losing david villa might hurt some, but really, he only looked 'magical' in that 1st russia game anyways. it's high time for torres to step up in a game this tourney anyways |

Historically, sure, but they've been suspect in this tourney. (Disclaimer: due to a *8==>*ed up TV languishing in the shop my viewing has been limited.) Villa is a grade-A stud but if Spain can learn to make a two zone pass they'll have Torres dancing in the back of the net more than once. It's pathetic to see how wasted he is in their style of football. |

LOL. Aske and I sure see the Torres situation differently. i have no doubt torres could be more effective in a different paced game and under a different system... he has really looked bad trying to create for himself outside the box off the dribble.... that said, he's sh*nked just about every touch that he HAS received in the box off some passes i would expect him to at least put on goal. |
