Thought I'd get the early jump on this thread. What's on tap for the weekend, y'all? I'm especially interested in the Fourth of July plans for the Chunder Down Under.

I'm sure I'll have familial obligations Friday involving beer, swimming, a cookout and fireworks. 4th of july tradition and what not.
My best friend is in town for the summer for Air Traffic Control training and we haven't played golf yet. So a round of golf and drinking heavily with my old high school buddies on Saturday. Hang with the fam on Sunday.
Should be a good weekend.

This is actually the first year we're traveling for the Fourth. A friend of Susan's has invited us to her cabin. We're heading out Wednesday a.m. for a long weekend.
Of course it's in the U.P. of Michigan and it's a 6-7 hour drive so that should be fun.

The wife works on the 4th so probably early morning "me" time, chaps optional, and a BBQ at friends' house in the afternoon. The rest of the weekend is probably yardwork.
