anyways, you are not just wasting the defense, you're wasting peterson who is not built to take 30 carries a game in the NFL every week. 2 more years of carries like that against rabid defenses keyed on the run (with tjoke at this performance level) and peterson will be done in 7 years total.
If Peterson isn't built for that, then no one in the NFL is. Especially small Willie Parker type backs.

But they won't because the offense (outside of Peterson) is failing badly.
Childress needs to open up the playbook and get ADP the ball. Where are the screens? Where are the swing passes? This is a West Coast offense. At least he is finally calling bootlegs. Why not line AD up at WR and get him matched up against a LB. The only time we line him up at WR is on a reverse. Childress had Westbrook with the eagles and did it, but when he gets here and has ADP he suddenly forgets those plays exist.

While Aske makes fun of Romo he is one that comes to mind. An undrafted free agent and in 2 years won the job without starting. In his first full year took the Cowboys to the playoffs. And he was the 3rd stringer when he started with the team.

This is his third year in the league. Learning time is over.
3 years, but today's game was only his 16th career start, so only one season of starting. Not many QB's do well with only one year of starting under their belt. This is all I'm going to say on this subject. I am surprised that this is not referenced more often in this town, or around the league: 3 years.....or........ only 3 years.............either way. Remember a guy out of the University of Central Florida? Daunte was drafted in 1999. Sat that year, and then in 2k was named the starting quarterback. Remember what happened in 2000?(Answer: Pro Bowl/ NFC Conf. Champ. Game. Albeit 41 donut, but that's not important right now) I was never a Daunte fan, and like Fuzz said, they moved up a lot to grab Jackson. (I don't feel like typing any more) My point is a rookie QB sitting one year...vs. 3 years of give him a chance to learn it.....it's not rocket science. After 3 years you either get it or you don't. I haven't seen it. FTR, Chilly has to go as well.

Preach it brother stroh. Very few QBs can come in in their rookie year and make a difference. Even Aikman went 1 - 15 in his first year. Eli? not great, Rivers? not great.
Payton Manning is an exception. Every QB should sit at least 2 seasons first and get use to the NFL game.

nah, not that good. stumbled AFC title game year 1, year 2 amazing in AFC playoffs (absolutely won the games for steelers by himself pretty much) but very poor game in the SB (but good enough to win)

Far from it. 3 INTs and a fumble in the game that mattered most.

Far from it. 3 INTs and a fumble in the game that mattered most. and a W anyways let me know when Tchoke has a super bowl ring the really funny part of that is excluding the skill difference of the (then) #1 receiver and TE compared to the current vikes squad, i'd say the teams are very well matched, and in some aspects the current vikes team is better than that steeler team. So what's your excuse for not getting there (while playing in a much shallower conference than the 2005 AFC)?

T.Jack was 8-4 as a first year starter last year, so then only stats mattered since he was getting the wins ... but when its the Steelers only wins matter.
